York County, PA
Come outside and be with your people.
Leave the phone in the house. Sit with your spouse. Let the kids stay out with marshmallows. Have folks over and give them a reason to linger. We design and build those places in York County, and Travis has been doing this work for more than twenty years.
Evenings
Stay outside a little longer.
Friday night when nobody checks the time. Something on the grill, kids with marshmallows, a quiet seat next to your spouse, and room for whoever came over.
Gather
One more s’more.
Kids at the fire. A quiet stretch with your spouse. That’s where people end up.
Cook
Cooking out here.
Heat, a place to set things down, the evening air. Dinner doesn’t have to go back in the house.
Linger
Enjoying the quiet.
Two chairs, pulled close. The house is right there. Nobody’s in it.
Listen
You can hear it from the chairs.
We design and build backyards to be lived in. Used after dinner, sat in with your spouse, shared with the people you like to have over.
That’s the point of the work. We plan the fire, the cooking, the quiet seats, and the sound of water so they belong together as one yard. How it lasts here — the base, the drainage, the stone — is in the work below.
Been dreaming about the backyard?
A fire. A place to cook. A quiet seat with your spouse, and room for the people you like to have over. If you’ve been picturing that, you’re in the right place. Tell us what you’ve been thinking about. We’ll help you build it.

A few yards we’ve built
Real jobs. Drainage, how you walk through, light at night, materials that hold up here. The evenings only work if that part is done right.
Fire, water, and a place to sit
Moving water, a generous fire, and seat walls that make it easy to stay. Built for evenings after dinner.

Travis has been doing this since 2000
He grew up in the garden with his grandparents, studied studio art, and has been a Certified Landscape Technician since 2004. The question he starts with is simple: how will you sit out here, and who will you sit with?
The art training shows up in how a layout feels when you walk into it. The CLT work — hardscape, softscape, pavers to ICPI standards — is why it still looks right after a Pennsylvania winter. Estimates come in line items, so you can build it all at once or in stages without redoing last year’s work.
“The difference is in the details—and in how patiently they walk you through every decision.”

What people say
This work grew by word of mouth. Honesty, an artist’s eye, and following through.
FAQ
Questions we hear a lot
Plain answers, so you can plan without guessing.
Does Garden Creations serve York County?
Yes. We work from Red Lion across York County. Every job starts with a visit so we can see access, drainage, slope, and what makes your lot different.
How does a project start?
We talk, walk the property, make a plan, then write a line-item estimate. You don’t need a full plan to start — tell us how you want to sit outside and who you have over.
Can I build the yard over more than one season?
Yes. A lot of homeowners phase the work. We write the estimate in line items so you can finish hardscape first and add planting, lighting, or a kitchen later without leaving utilities in the wrong place.
Do you handle drainage and grading?
Yes. Water is part of the design. We plan pitch, edging, and drainage when you need it, so water moves away from the house.
Tell us about your yard
Fire with the kids. Coffee with your spouse. Dinner that stays at the table, and a place that makes it easy to have people over. We’ll help you sort what matters first and build it so it lasts through the seasons here.
